SkipTheDepot

SkipTheDepot is an independent service that Green Bottle Depot partners with. Available on your mobile device, getting your refund is as easy as downloading the app and signing up! SkipTheDepot also offers additional recycling depot services that can be booked simultaneously as your bottle pick up. SkipTheDepot is available in several communities throughout Alberta. It is also a service we provide at each of our recycling depots. Green Bottle Depot is proud to partner with them to make returning bottles an easy process for our clients. Empties to Winn

Through Empties to Winn we can offer our Edmonton bottle depot customers another option for pick up services. Empties to Winn is an easy way donate your return to Winnifred Stewart (WS), a charitable organization that supports nearly 200 individuals with developmental disabilities. The organization helps these individuals meet their potential and have full and rewarding lives in an inclusive, supportive community.

Winnifred Stewart also provides full accommodation through independent and supported living arrangements for over 70 people. This includes but is not limited to providing accommodations for individuals with disabilities like Dementia or Alzheimer’s. In addition, through WS, individuals can enjoy a variety of employment opportunities, volunteer support, and day programs. If you live in the Edmonton area and want to donate your empties without going to the recycling depot, take advantage of the pickup services through Empties to Winn. It’s as easy as registering on their website, scheduling a bottle pickup day, and receiving your annual tax receipt for your cumulative donations.
